Our 60-minute assessment at Alpha K9 Academy is designed to evaluate your dog's behavior, temperament, and training needs. Here's what you can expect during the session: Initial Consultation: 1. We start with a friendly conversation to understand your concerns, goals, and any specific issues you’re experiencing with your dog. We’ll discuss your dog’s history, daily routine, and any previous training they’ve had. Behavioral Evaluation: 2. Our expert trainer will observe your dog's behavior in a controlled environment. We’ll assess how your dog interacts with you and responds to basic commands. We’ll also evaluate any specific behavioral issues such as aggression, anxiety, or excessive barking. Temperament Testing: 3. We’ll perform simple exercises to gauge your dog's temperament and social skills. This includes interaction with the trainer, exposure to different stimuli, and socialization with other dogs if appropriate. Training Plan Development: 4. Based on the assessment, we’ll develop a personalized training plan tailored to your dog's needs. We’ll recommend the most suitable training package and outline the goals and milestones you can expect to achieve. Q&A Session: You’ll have the opportunity to ask any questions about the training process, methods, and what to expect moving forward. Our trainer will provide tips and initial guidance to help you start addressing any immediate concerns. By the end of the assessment, you’ll have a clear understanding of your dog's current behavior and a customized plan to help them become the best version of themselves. Cancellation Policy
he 60-Minute Dog Training Assessment is a private, one-on-one consultation designed to evaluate your dog’s behavior, learning style, and training needs. During this session, our trainer will assess your dog’s temperament, responsiveness, and environment to determine the best training plan for long-term success. This assessment also allows us to answer your questions, discuss your goals, and ensure we recommend the most effective program for your dog and household. Program Cost & Payment The total cost of the 60-minute assessment is $100. This includes: $50 Assessment Fee (covers the trainer’s time, evaluation, and recommendations) $50 Booking Deposit (refundable after attendance or applied toward a training program if purchased). Clients must pay the full $100 to reserve an appointment. Your booking is confirmed only after payment is received. Refunds & Credit Policy The $50 Assessment Fee is non-refundable once the appointment is confirmed. The $50 Booking Deposit is refundable after the assessment is completed or may be applied as a credit toward any training program booked within 7 days of your assessment. If you choose not to book a training program, the $50 deposit will be refunded to your original payment method within 3–5 business days after the completed session. No refunds are available for cancellations or no-shows made within 24 hours of the scheduled assessment. Cancellations & Rescheduling Clients may cancel or reschedule up to 48 hours before the scheduled assessment without penalty. Cancellations made within 48 hours of the appointment are subject to forfeiture of the $50 booking deposit. No-shows or same-day cancellations will result in a full loss of the $100 payment. Alpha K9 Academy may reschedule appointments due to weather, emergencies, or trainer illness. In these cases, clients will be contacted promptly to choose a new date. Attendance & Conduct Please arrive on time and bring your dog’s current vaccination record. Dogs must be on a leash and under control at all times. Aggressive or unsafe behavior may result in early termination of the assessment without refund. Acknowledgment By booking this assessment, you agree to all payment, cancellation, and refund policies above. Clients also understand that the trainer’s recommendations are based on professional evaluation but do not guarantee specific behavioral results.
